Die Anlage - allgemeines

Die Erweiterungs- und Modernisierungsarbeiten der hochklassigen Anlage Karhulanvaara wurden federführend vom Architekturbüro Osmo Sillman & Kumpp. Ky mit Sitz in Kajaani durchgeführt. Die architektonisch gleichermaßen interessante und bedarfsorientierte Realisierung wurde in drei Bauphasen verwirklicht. Heute zählen die Anlagen unter den öffentlichen Räumen in punkto Zweckmäßigkeit und Multifunktionalität in Kainuu zum oberen Immobiliensegment.

Karhulanvaara has an acoustic auditorium seating 120 people, and it is technically equipped to suit many diverse performances. The library and the practical and stylish corridor space with social facilities as well as the gym/hall with a spacious stage complete the functional entity.

The student accommodation is formed from four terraced houses. Each house has four cellular apartments for 8 people (4 double rooms), where the living room/kitchenette, shower room and toilet are shared. There is a canopied barbecue in the student accommodation area for evening entertainment.
